United Healthcare Professionals Group (UHPG) delivers a community-centered model of service designed to improve access to quality healthcare for underserved and underprivileged families.

United Healthcare Professionals Group (UHPG) delivers a community-centered model of service designed to improve access to quality healthcare for underserved and underprivileged families. Our approach is rooted in compassion, equity, prevention, and collaboration. We recognize that many individuals face barriers that extend far beyond medical needs, including financial hardship, limited health literacy, transportation challenges, language differences, and difficulty navigating healthcare systems. UHPG responds to these realities by creating accessible, trusted, and supportive pathways to care.
We begin by listening to the community and understanding its most urgent needs. Through partnerships with healthcare professionals, local organizations, volunteers, and advocates, we design outreach efforts that are practical, culturally responsive, and centered on people. Our services focus on prevention, education, referrals, and direct support, helping families access resources before health concerns become crises. By combining compassion with action, UHPG makes healthcare more approachable, more inclusive, and more effective for the communities we serve.
At the heart of our model is the belief that healthcare should be proactive rather than reactive. Instead of waiting until illness becomes severe, UHPG emphasizes prevention, early intervention, and education. We work to meet individuals and families where they are, bringing health services, information, and resources directly into the communities that need them most. Whether through health fairs, screenings, workshops, outreach events, or referral support, our goal is to reduce barriers and improve outcomes in a practical and meaningful way.

Central Pillars of Our Work

Preventive healthcare

Preventive healthcare is a central pillar of our work. UHPG organizes and supports services such as blood pressure checks, glucose screening, wellness assessments, immunizations, and general health education. These services help identify risks early and encourage individuals to take practical steps toward better health. Prevention lowers long-term healthcare costs, reduces avoidable emergencies, and empowers people to make informed choices before small concerns become major problems. In this way, our model supports both immediate care and long-term wellness.

Health education

Health education is another core component of our service approach. We believe that knowledge is a powerful tool for healthier living. UHPG provides education on topics such as nutrition, chronic disease prevention, maternal and child health, mental health awareness, medication adherence, hygiene, and healthy lifestyle habits. Our educational efforts are designed to be simple, accessible, and actionable so that individuals and families can apply what they learn in everyday life. By strengthening health literacy, we help communities become more confident in managing their own wellbeing.

UHPG also places strong emphasis on referral and resource navigation. Many families need more than a one-time screening or workshop; they need guidance in accessing ongoing care. Our team helps connect individuals to primary care providers, specialists, mental health services, community clinics, prescription assistance programs, insurance resources, and social support services. This navigation role is critical because the healthcare system can be overwhelming, especially for people with limited resources or unfamiliarity with available options. UHPG helps bridge that gap by making the system more understandable and more accessible.

Collaboration is central to UHPG’s model. By bringing together healthcare professionals from diverse disciplines, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, public health experts, and allied health workers, the organization fosters an integrated approach to community health. Volunteers and advocates play an equally important role, contributing their time, expertise, and passion to expand the organization’s reach and impact. Partnerships with local governments, nonprofits, and private sector stakeholders further strengthen UHPG’s ability to deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
